Living the Swiss Way

I recently moved to Switzerland to start my freshman year of college. Here are a few pictures from my time here so far...

Senior Prom 2013

My prom dress was from Nordstrom by the brand Lush. It wasn't really supposed to be worn as a prom dress but I loved the pattern and the simplicity of it; I'm not really one for those typical, chiffon dresses. I really liked it, it was a super comfy jersey/cotton material and easy to move around and dance in. Plus I'll be able to wear it later with a comfy sweater over it and sandals for a more casual look.

Huge Collective Haul

Hi! Long time, no talk. My blog has definitely taken a backseat in my life these past couple months. Hopefully I get back into it as time moves on.

While I've been MIA from blogging I went shopping a few times and have acquired quite a few new things. This haul spans from the after-Christmas sales up until a few days ago. I definitely did not buy all this at once!

My new coach bag! This is part of a Christmas gift from my step-Mom and my Dad.

This is from my most recent shopping trip. The navy utility jacket is from Nordstrom ($59) and the other three sweaters were purchased by my boyfriend for our anniversary (Forever21 - $17.80, Nordstrom - $10, Forever21 - $17.80)

The checked shirt and the black rain jacket are both from Target (don't remember price), the two striped shirts are from Forever21, and the green utility jacket is from JCPenny.

The grey and white sweater and the zebra t-shirt are both from Forever21, the bicycle t-shirt is from JCPenny, and the three scarves are from CottonOn.

Overall I bought a lot of nice things and am very happy with all my purchases. I'll likely be doing outfit posts with them in the near future.

XOXO

Homecoming 2012!

Homecoming was really fun and I had a nice time. It was a good last homecoming dance.
My dress was from asos.com and was a nude dress with a black lace detail and an exposed zipper down the back. My shoes were from DSW and are by the brand Moda. I kept my makeup simple and classy with a shimmery champagne across the lid, a dark brown in the crease, and a thin line of liquid liner with some shimmery pink lip gloss.

Hope you enjoyed and I'm going to try and post more often from now on!

Update!

Sorry I never finished posting about my trip to Europe; it eventually became too much of a hassle with slow internet connection and not enough time. I'll do a post soon with my purchases soon, since I got quite a lot of new things.

Here are a few highlights from the rest of my vacation...

It was overall a really great experience, definitely opened my eyes to different perspectives of the world. I hope to return soon for more exploring!

Germany Day 6

We went down to a small village called Bad Tolz, which is where my Grandma and Grandpa first met. It was a charming little town, definitely not a common tourist destination, not many people spoke English.

Germany Day 5

Today we went took a stroll along the Isar River and found ourselves at this local Oktoberfest/ flea market type place. I bought a lot of souvenirs that will be shown in my Europe haul later. Though today was slightly unadventurous and uninteresting.
